FAIRY CHIMNEYS

According to the legend;

One time, terrible giants whose heads were equal to high mountains lived in the world. People are very afraid of these giants and would be careful not to annoy them. At certain periods, they gather at the altars on the summits of these mountains and pray that the giants do not harm anyone. Again, sometimes these giants got angry and when they got angry, they sent waves of fire from the top of the mountains where they were sitting.

One day, the way of the sultan of the country of fairies fell to Cappadocia, the land of these people. The fairy sultan was very sorry for the people and decided to help them. He summoned all the fairies at once.

To the fairies; If we can put out the fire of the mountains where the cruel giants live, the giants will run under the ground and will not disturb people again. Thousands of fairies began to throw snow and ice flakes into the bubbling fire in their hands. They managed to put out the fire for days without stopping by drowning it in snow and ice.

Eventually the giants were scared and had to flee deep into the earth and hide. After 10 days, a very close friendship has formed between people and fairies. This friendship continued for many years. While people lived in caves they carved into rocks, fairies also lived in small chambers above pointed rocks.
